Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, who is the judge and host of the popular reality show Laughter Chefs, looks back at the year 2025 with a lot of gratitude and love. In this exclusive conversation, he talks about his journey, the lessons he learned, the people he cares about, and how this year changed his outlook towards life and family. Excerpts:

Q1: When you look back at 2025, what are you most grateful for?
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. I am very thankful to God for the life He has given me. This year was tough for everyone, but I am happy that I could stay strong and positive. I am especially grateful for Laughter Chef Season 3. The people on the show are like my family now. We work together, laugh together, and support each other every day.
Q2: You share a close bond with Bharti. What would you like to say about her?
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Bharti is very special to me. She is sweet, kind and extremely hardworking. She always spreads happiness on the sets. Right now, she is on a break because of her newborn baby boy, and I miss her a lot during shoots. I truly wish to see her back soon, and I always pray for her and her family.
Q3: What important lessons did 2025 teach you?
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. This year taught me that life is very short, and we should not waste it. We must spend more time with our loved ones, take care of our health, and enjoy small moments. Earlier, I was always busy with work. Now I want to slow down a little, give time to my family, stay healthy, and live life happily.
Q4: How do you look at the difficult situations the world faced in 2025?
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Yes, this year was very difficult for many people. It taught us that nothing in life is guaranteed. We should value every moment and every relationship, because kal ho na ho. This year made me believe more in kindness, love and gratitude. We should help and support each other.
Q5: What is one thing you want to leave behind in 2025?
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. I want to leave behind stress and overthinking. I don’t want to live with worry anymore. From now on, I want more peace in my heart and a calm, happy mind.
Q6: What has been the biggest blessing for you this year?
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Laughter Chef Season 3 has been a big blessing in my career. The love from the audience and the happy moments on the sets kept me positive. Personally, I became closer to my family and started focusing more on my health and balance in life.
Q7: What message would you like to give as you say goodbye to 2025?
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. 2025 was tough, but it made me stronger and more thankful. Now I am ready to enter the new year with hope, faith, love and a big smile. I just want to live happily, spread positivity, and thank God for every new day.
